Parameterization of subgrid aerosol formation and its regional influence on aerosol in China
Time:2021-11-26Keywords: Source of article:Pageviews:484

Dr. Wei Ying of the IUM et al. developed a sub-grid particle formation(SGPF) parameterization scheme suitable for the highly oxidized atmospheric environment of regions in China based on the atmospheric chemical transport model (IAP-AACM+APM) coupled with the Advanced Particle Microphysics; the oxidation ratio of SO2 in plumes and the mass concentration and numerical concentration of the generated sub-grid aerosols have significant spatial and temporal variations, showing significant differences between the central and western regions of China with different pollutant emission characteristics.
