According to the Implementation Rules and Management Measures for Incentives for Innovative Achievements and Outstanding Contributions at the Institute of Urban Meteorology, CMA, Beijing (Revised in 2024) (Document No. 14 [2024] of the Institute of Urban Meteorology, CMA, Beijing), to fully leverage the motivating and guiding role of science and technology, and improve the efficiency of technology achievement transformation and application, the Institute of Urban Meteorology, CMA, Beijing initiated the 2025 “Dual Incentive” program for innovative achievements and outstanding contributions on October 31. This year, 26 projects have been submitted and passed the formal review, including 16 innovation achievements and 10 outstanding contributions.
From November to December, the evaluation of the Dual Incentive Projects was conducted. After reviews by external experts, the Science and Technology Commission, and institute staff, and discussions at the President’s Office Meeting and Institute Affairs Meeting, 5 projects were awarded the Special Excellence level, 8 projects the Excellence level, and 10 projects the Good level.
These Dual Incentive projects represent the institute’s key research accomplishments in recent years and have effectively encouraged staff innovation. The evaluation aims to continually produce excellent results and apply them to our work, contributing more to high-quality meteorological development in Beijing and weather security services.
