FANG Chuanglin
Academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, Professor at the Institute of Geographical Sciences and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Distinguished Professor of the Yangtze River Scholar from the Ministry of Education. He is currently Director of the Regional and Urban Planning and Design Research Center of the Institute of Geographical Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Regional Sustainable Development Simulation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Director of the Urban Geography and Urban Development Unit. He is mainly engaged in urban geography, urbanization and urban planning, with in-depth research on urbanization process and resource and environmental protection in China, Chinese urban agglomeration sustainable development, urbanization process and ecological environment effects, as well as the urban master plan, urban control detailed plan and industrial agglomeration area plan of different types and on different spatial scales. He is a member of Institute of Development Strategy Research of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, a consultant for UN-HABITAT International Guidelines on Urban and Territorial Planning and New Urban Agenda and Chief Expert of Comprehensive Assessment Report on China's Innovative Cities.

LUO Yong
Professor of Tsinghua University, mainly engaged in climate-water-energy research, including climate system processes and mechanisms, global climate change detection, attribution and prediction, global water cycle evolution, climate system model development, renewable energy development and utilization, and climate change risks management. He was lead author of the Fourth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and a lead author of China Climate and Environmental Evolution and of the first, second and third National Assessment Reports on Climate Change. He serves as the chairman of the Committee on Climate Change and Low Carbon Development of the Chinese Meteorological Society, Vice President of the World Climate Research Programme/China National Committee for Climate and Cryosphere, and Vice President of International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics/China National Committee of the International Association of Cryospheric Science.

ZHANG Pingwen
Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, fellow of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, professor at Peking University, and Distinguished Professor of the Yangtze River Scholar from the Ministry of Education, with outstanding achievements in the field of multi-scale modeling and calculation of complex fluids, multi-scale analysis and calculation, mobile grid methods and calculations. He is currently assistant principal of Peking University, director of the National Engineering Lab of Big Data Analysis and Application, the director of the Scientific and Engineering Computing Center, and chairman of the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. He won the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award, Beijing May Fourth Youth Medal, and Feng Kang Scientific Computing Award.
